Instructions for setting up the

RCA RCR4258 & RCR4358

4 Component Universal Remote Control

1) Find the Component Code number for the desired Device from the table below. On this remote there are two version. Open the battery compartment and look on the battery door. There will be a R55L8 or R561F printed on the cover or on the remote.

 

2) On the RCA remote press and hold the VCR button until the red light comes on and stays on.

3) While holding the button VCR button down, enter the 4 digit component code.

4) Release the VCR button.

The VCR preset should now be set.

Note 1 - For this component code the number pad controls TV and therefore does not work on the VCR.
